The Cross and the Light

From Father Brian:
The Cross and the Light is a two-hour concert experience that takes us through Christ’s Passion to Pentecost. Locally, this special multi-media presentation will be offered at St. Isidore Parish in Macomb on Friday, May 15 (8pm show time). I would like it if we could get a group from our parish to go. If enough are interested we can get a bus. The costs are $10 for students and $20 for adults. Beginning this weekend in church (April 11 & 12) we will have a sign-up sheet for those interested in attending. For more information, please visit or

Rev. Rene L. Desmarais Memorial Fund Scholarships 2015

This memorial fund was established in Fr. Rene’s memory for the purpose of continuing the variety of works he began in the Port Huron community.  One of these works was to award scholarships to full time students attending SC4 or Baker College.

Scholarship applications are available in the parish office.  We ask that students attending (or planning to attend) SC4 or Baker College in the fall have their application returned to the parish office no later than May 1, 2015.

2015 Season for Nonviolence / Bluewater Pax Christi Film Series

Join us March 20, 2015 at 7:00pm at St. Stephens Parish Center. This free event will be featuring the film “El Norte.”

In the light of the recent controversies over immigrants on our southern borders, this classic feature film from the mid 80’s explains some of the cause for their displacement, the plight of those who risk everything to com “North,” and the challenges that certainly don’t end when they arrive here. The film runs about 140 minutes.
