So what do you know? Christ Life was and is such a great experience, but so many of you have told me that you want more. People are more open about sharing their faith, but would like to be better equipped at defending their beliefs or what the Church teaches. One cannot defend what they don’t know.
Beginning Monday, February 22nd (Please note the date change, originally it was to start February 5th) we will begin a program on Monday nights called Growing Faith Project. The program will run in a continual cycle and participants will be able to attend all or just the topics that interest them. You can jump into the program at anytime and leave at any time. It would help to have an idea of what supplies to purchase. Please register by calling the parish office 810-984-2689 or the OLG office at 810-985-5212. If there is enough interest for a morning session, we are open to making that happen.
The session will begin promptly at 6:30PM and run until about 8:30PM at St Stephen Parish Center. We will begin with light snack, prayer and praise and then move into the presentation with time for small group discussion and then large group discussion. Question will always be encouraged.
The line up for the first 4 weeks is as follows:
Monday, February 22: An overview of the Sacraments
Monday February 29: The Ten Commandments
Monday, March 7: Forgiveness and Healing
Monday March 14: The Sacrament of Reconciliation
Give me (810-985-5212) a call if you have any questions or concerns.

There is a new movement in the Catholic church started about 10 years ago by a lay person named “Anne”. She was given messages from God the Father, Jesus, Mary and a few saints. Jesus asked her to write them down and they were given to her local Bishop. A collection of 10 Volumes and a series of booklets were published. Two years ago the books were given the Imprimatur from the Church.
Anyone can belong to this Apostolate. One of the spiritual practices of the Apostolate is monthly recitation of the Luminous Mysteries. This is not hard to do.
We meet each first Thursday of the month at 6:30pm at St. Stephen’s Chapel. You’re welcome to come anytime and join in prayers. Copies of the booklets are available at each worship site.
