There will be a discussion on the book, 33 Days to Merciful Love, by Fr. Michael Gaitley, on Thursday, Nov. 17th, 2016 in the library from 7 – 8pm at the St. Stephen site. This discussion is for those who have been reading the book since the daily readings and prayers began back on October 19th. The book focuses on the interior life of St. Therese of Lisieux, a popular and holy woman doctor of the Church from France, who had a relationship of merciful love with God and was known to grow in holiness through the Little Way. We will unpack that and more with conversation and Q & A. Please bring the book, some paper, and something to write with.
While the Year of Mercy ends on Nov. 20th, the consecratory prayer from this book will be prayed out loud the very next day on Monday Nov. 21st, 2016 after the 9am Mass at our St. Joseph site. This consecratory prayer will be led by our pastor, Fr. Sal but will also be recited out loud as a group for those who have participated in the prayerful reading of the book all along. Hope you can join in that.
